Now here's an interesting game concept I hadn't heard of before: build your own version of the classics. Check out these games:
I Built it! Memory Match & Tic Tac Toe
Instantly Build your own customized game of Memory Match and Tic Tac Toe that can change as often as your Childs imagination! read more!
I Built it! Checkers
Instantly Build your own customized checker set that can change as often as your imagination! read more!
I Built it! Jumbo Chess
Instantly customize these amazing chess sets! These familiar yet uniquely shaped chess pieces easily hold your favorite pictures. read more!
The main idea of these games is that you can customize them any way you want. You can put in actual pictures of people you know, or use baseball cards or magazine pictures, or color templates they provide for you - they sky is really the limit!
The jumbo chess game really is jumbo. I was a little surprised by the plastic nature of the pieces, but got over that pretty fast. It is a BIG game. Each piece will hold a playing card sized piece of paper which really would make this perfect for making a specialized chess baseball team or something like that.
I love the idea of putting in sets of faces your child will recognize for the memory game - such a neat idea!
We ended up sending the Chess game home with my parents so our kids could play it when we go to their house. I'm a little sad now that we did that because my 10yo has asked for it a couple of times since then. Ah well, it will be fresh and fun when we go to Oklahoma eventually.
Anyway, a neat concept. Now one of you can win your choice of the Memory Match or the Checkers game. Sweet!
Here's how to enter:

We've been playing Zingo b/c my 3-year-old got it for Christmas and LOVES it! (It's like bingo but with pictures. Thanks G'ma and G'pa. :)
We have A LOT of games! Right now, my son says his favorite is Battleship. Classic. We play Bananagrams a lot. Carcasonne is a new addition. I could go on and on...
Changing the pictures keeps it "fresh and new." really, a clever idea. :-)
We love to play all the classic games, recently have done backgammon and othello.
Each game comes with a JUMBO piece that can be used as a picture frame... cute idea!
okay, I got scared by the very child I am trying to win this for! as I was navigating the web she snuck up and jumped on me... but I still managed a post on my fb page w/comment!
and then went straigt to the company's fb page, liked, posted w/link and comment... I'm getting good at this...Megan, you have created games for adults :)
seriously, I really didn't know that Bonanza was out on DVD... I have too many men in my life who will want that this year! I can think of 6 off the top of my head, funny.
My girls love playing games! Chutes and Ladders, Candyland and any Memory are big right now.
When I went to their website, I found the "play it forward" program for charity pretty neat.
And I do subscribe!
We've been enjoying BANANAGRAMS.
I went to their site, and simply the fact that they have jumbo-size pieces seems neat. We wouldn't be as likely to loose them. ;)
I posted to FB
I Liked their FB page and posted a giveaway link
I've subscribed to your blog.
I read your review on the pet dishes. I wish we had one with non-skid bottoms. Our dog is ALWAYS pushing her bowl around the laundry room!
