5 Months of Direct TV FREE

I don't know all the details about this offer, so DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you sign on the dotted line. We don't have any kind of subscription TV service and I have no knowledge of how the contracts work.

Still, this might be a deal worth checking out: 5 months of Direct TV for free. If you are in the market for this kind of thing, check it out, but again, make an informed decision, por favor!

If you find out this is really bad financial deal after all, would you let me know?

Deal Blogging

Long before we moved to St. Louis to begin seminary I was a deal hunter. Being in ministry (which we were) oftentimes necessitates that kind of lifestyle. Seminary life is no different. In fact, it often takes the most frugal among us and stretches us like Silly Putty.

Our seminary days are now over, but our stewardship days are not. In fact, in many ways they are really just beginning.

I've never really wanted to be a "deal blogger" though I do love a good deal as much as the next gal. But I'm finding more and more that I want to share the good deals I find. Facebook and email loops have been my mode of choice thus far, as I haven't wanted to clutter up my personal blog, Half-Pint House, with deals that my normal blog readership probably isn't that interested in.

Thus the birth of this blog, St. Louis, Seminary Style. Because you don't have to still be a seminary student to live like one. *grin*

When I find relevant things I think others will be interested in, I will post them here. If you have leads on things, please share and I'll repost so others can see them too.

Let's do this together.
